GCM perspective for borrowers in North Carolina

Local labor trends vary across counties and metros; stronger employment in some places can support housing demand, but conditions differ by locality. Borrowers should consider county and metro patterns and recent household income stability when deciding whether to list, buy or refinance. Verify employment documentation with your loan officer if you have recent job changes, and compare like-for-like series from the Department of Commerce monthlies rather than switching data sources.
